Our approach is a multi-layered model that moves from individual empowerment to systemic change, ensuring that digital inclusion leads to tangible improvements in livelihoods, food security, and economic resilience for Kenya’s most marginalized communities.

The Core Components of Our Model

The Community Digital Champion Model

This is the engine of our project. We identify and train local youth as Community Digital Champions (CDCs).

Foundational and Basic Digital Skills

We use the official, nationally-approved ICTA Digital Skills Curriculum to ensure standardization and recognition.

The AIDAR Model for Mass Awareness

To achieve our goal of reaching 15 million citizens, we deploy the AIDAR model (Awareness, Interest, Desire, Action, Resilience).

The Downstream Partner (DSP) Ecosystem

Training alone is not enough. We actively build a network of Downstream Partners (DSPs) to ensure our participants can use their new skills.

By targeting women, girls, PWDs, and senior citizens with tailored training, we directly tackle the gender and social digital divide.

Increase Agricultural Productivity

We bridge the gap between digital literacy and farming by linking skills training to practical Digital Services in Agriculture (DSA).

Enhance Digital Employability

We provide a clear pathway for young women and girls from basic skills to market-ready, income-generating capabilities.

Create Mass Awareness

We use CDCs and the AIDAR model to demystify technology and inform millions about the digital opportunities available to them

Strengthen Partnerships

We act as a connector, weaving together government, private sector, and community actors to create a unified and powerful digital inclusion front.

Generate Knowledge Products

We are committed to learning and sharing our insights through policy briefs, research papers, and webinars to influence national policy and scale what works.
